Hidden Relics is a delicious reminder of what hidden games should be like. The game play itself is spellbinding on its own but throw in the mini games and you'll be enjoying yourself for hours.
When an evil thief stole priceless antique treasures, the Professor called her brightest student, Adrianna Stone. Adrianna's got it rough -- for her first assignment, she has to travel all over the European continent to follow the thief's tracks and retrieve the stolen goods. Your job is to help Adrianna find the booty hidden among the hodgepodge of items. Each time you finish finding all the items in one stage, you'll go through one special game for bonus points. The special games vary from one level to the next and the difficulty sure does increase!
As an aside, you also need to collect various gadgets to help you in your quest to find the rest of the hidden treasures. These gadgets are under the care of "Mr. Gadget" and he'll only hand the goods over if you play mini games for him. Each mini game completed earns you a star as well as one gadget to help move the storyline forward.
Just like every other hidden objects game, Hidden Relics require sharpness of mind and eye as well as patience. The last one is meant for holding out until you're really in a pinch before using your limited number of hints too early into a level. If you end up into a non-rectifiable situation though, don't despair. Simply start a new game and play all over again -- with Hidden Relics, the time spent is well worth it.
